December 20th progress

I got 2 sections of ramp done as of the 22nd of December and I only have one section left to do. I am 2 feet from the top of the concrete slab so now I can get up without a ladder now-- sort of a big step though. usually winter starts here on the first of december but we have had mild weather so far all month.

Video of installation of brackets that hold ramp. Jose took the movies-- he dropped in while I was working.

Thunderstorms

I took this yesterday at sunset. There is a thunderstorm to the east and west of me and clear above me plus a sunset above Necedah Bluff. It is from the 51 feet level of my tower with the 18 to 55 lense ( the weaker lense).  Im still working on the ramp to the concrete slab.

Here is a classical dance for variety. I took this video at the Festival of India a few weeks ago. Each move has a significant spiritual meaning in these ancient Indian dances, enjoy and Happy New Year:   <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GXwcYICU5SU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The concrete pour

Fr. Stanley Monaghan He has supported this project from the beginning without asking for compensation. In earlier years he has even shoveled concrete. He is the priest at Rosa Mystica Church on 23rd avenue in Necedah near G. He is under Patriarch Athenasius. He took most of the pictures on this page with my camera. His wife Bonnie Monaghan provided the drinks while we poured concrete.
I'm filling the lotus arch in with the hose. The hose can be moved by remote control that the driver is carrying in the picture.
we did a little bucketing to give the forms a break then we put the hose on the side to finish filling the forms.

we put the hose on the side to take preassure off the bottom.
it was a successful pour thanks to the good quality help i got. Potratz concrete pumping from Wisconsin Rapids sent a well seasoned pump driver who knew just how far to push the forms and when. My neighbor Fr Stanley Monaghan took pictures and even helped some. A man from Adams co. named Joseph or Joey helped me pour the concrete.

Necedah Tower

Next week I will be pouring concrete. The tower is now 30 feet tall going on 40. I also plan to have a page on the Necedah Shrine. The tower will have a spiritual level on it for the ancient practices of Sanatana Dharma. See my other blog at http://www.theyuha.blogspot.com/    http://www.papalmass.blogspot.com/
